I have over 39 years of service within the educational profession having served as an elementary teacher, vice-principal, principal of both elementary and middle schools, a superintendent/principal, and a county director of continuous improvement.
Creating positive school cultures has been foundational to my work as is creating a positive school culture built on the principles of teamwork and shared leadership. Key strategies have included supporting high levels of engagement of all educational partners through programs such as: FranklinCovey's Leader in Me, focusing on a multi system of support (MTSS) and PBIS.
Focused personal training has included certifications in continuous improvement, Character Strong MTSS, and FranklinCovey executive coaching.
With a focus on education, I serve as an adjunct university professor, student teacher/intern supervisor, and instructor for Tier 1 admin credentialing. I also coach school teams focused on MTSS and continuous improvement.
